Ownership

Unless otherwise specified by Shopify, all rights (including copyright, trademark rights, patent rights, trade secrets, and other related rights) regarding all products, technologies, software, programs, data, and other information released by Shopify (including text, icons, images, photographs, audio, video, charts, color schemes, layout designs, etc.) are owned by Shopify and/or its affiliates. Any unauthorized use of the aforementioned content and information by any individual or entity without the prior permission of Shopify and/or its affiliates may infringe upon the rights of Shopify and/or its affiliates; we will hold infringing parties legally liable. If you wish to use such content (e.g., for promotion or display), you must obtain prior permission from Shopify and/or its affiliates.

Information Management

To maintain the normal and efficient operation of Shopify, no individual or entity is permitted—without the authorization of the Shopify service provider and/or its affiliates—to personally conduct, or to authorize or assist a third party in conducting, scanning and/or probing activities (such as address scanning, network port scanning, or operating system probing) against Shopify and Shopify's systems; ...or engage in monitoring, copying, uploading, displaying, or mirroring via means such as bots, crawlers, automated programs, or other devices...

Access Rules

Shopify is committed to enhancing the user service experience in a compliant, safe, and reliable manner. To safeguard transaction security and data on Shopify, and to maintain normal operational order as well as the legitimate rights and interests of all stakeholders, no third-party agent or automated program is permitted to access, call, or operate Shopify-related products and services (including, without limitation: account login and management; receiving and using offers; searching, browsing, or retrieving product/service information; placing orders, making payments, and leaving reviews; after-sales services and rights protection; as well as activities related to opening and managing stores) without express prior written permission from the Shopify service provider and/or its affiliates, and without having completed the necessary security and compliance assessments. No third-party agent or automated program may conceal or disguise its identity or authorization status. When security authentication mechanisms—such as CAPTCHA or tests distinguishing between humans and machines—are triggered, these agents or programs must respond and cooperate in good faith; they are prohibited from bypassing or subverting these authentication mechanisms or security measures through methods such as circumvention or cyberattacks (hacking). In the event of a failure to heed or a violation of the aforementioned requirements, we reserve the right to implement necessary technical restrictions and risk mitigation measures in accordance with applicable laws, current regulations, and the platform's agreements and rules. We also reserve the right to hold relevant parties accountable and seek compensation for damages as provided by law.

Limitation of Liability

As the information-hosting services provided by Shopify function similarly to an electronic bulletin board (BBS), information regarding third-party stores and products on Shopify (including, but not limited to, store names, company names, contact details, product descriptions and specifications, images, videos, etc.) is provided and uploaded by the users themselves; users bear legal responsibility for the information they provide and upload. Should the service provider have alternative arrangements regarding this matter, such arrangements will be clearly specified in relevant agreements or other legal documents.

Content reposted by Shopify (including forum content) is shared for informational purposes; such reposting does not imply our endorsement of the views expressed therein or our verification of the content's authenticity. Any organization or individual identifying content that contains inaccurate information or appears to infringe upon their legitimate rights and interests may submit feedback or complaints to us via Shopify's designated channels. Upon receipt of such feedback or complaints, we will promptly verify the matter and take action in accordance with applicable laws and current rules. Protection of Intellectual Property Rights

We respect intellectual property rights and oppose and combat any infringement thereof. If an intellectual property rights holder believes that content on Shopify (including, without limitation, product information posted by Shopify users) infringes upon their legitimate rights and interests...
